What are the top spring wellness trends of 2026

infared pilates

From infra-red pilates, to salmon sperm serum, the experts on Fresha, a leading beauty and wellness booking platform, have revealed the top spring wellness trends of 2026 and shared their insights.

Infrared pilates:

Red light therapy has made its way into the fitness world. Infrared pilates is a combination of low-impact pilates and infrared panels. This unique exercise has surged 586% year-over-year, fuelled by the rapid rise of infrared pilates studios opening up across cities, making it a fast-growing wellness trend this spring. This workout promises higher calorie burn, increased flexibility and faster recovery. Celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian have incorporated infrared pilates for its potential health benefits, helping drive its growing popularity in wellness routines.

PDRN:

PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a K-beauty ingredient otherwise known as salmon sperm. When it first became known that people in Korea were injecting their faces with salmon DNA in pursuit of smooth, firm skin, it was seen as just another fad. Fast-forward a year and this science-backed treatment has gained more credibility. As Fresha reported a 523% year-over-year increase, it has established itself as a skincare staple. A-listers, including PDRN, have raved about it online, with Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston among those who have included it in their routines. PDRN is used for various skin concerns, primarily to regenerate tissue and promote cell renewal, resulting in the much-loved ‘glass skin’ effect.

Red light therapy mats:

Red light therapy has been a leading wellness trend for some time now, and according to search data and a 400% year-over-year change, its popularity isn’t fading. Red light therapy has been marketed to address various concerns, from fine lines and uneven skin tone to inflammation and stress. A red light therapy mat is simply a bendable pad with LED lights that emit red and near-infrared wavelengths, so users can lie on it or practice yoga while reaping the non-invasive benefits of red light therapy.

Annabelle Taurua, expert at Fresha, comments:

“Spring wellness trends show a big focus on regenerative wellness routines. This includes everything from salmon sperm, peptides, and lots of red light therapy treatments. We can also expect to see a rise in the popularity of social wellness trends, as people begin to tap into routines that help build and support healthy relationships with those around them, including friends, family, and community.

If we look at what these trends have in common, I think they’re part of a new wave of science-led beauty and wellness. Most importantly, I think we’re increasingly seeing wellness routines that work best for individuals and their specific needs, moving away from the old-fashioned one-size-fits-all narrative.

Spring wellness trends are expected to shift towards treatments that address concerns as they arise and towards supporting our bodies so that problems don’t develop in the first place. This reflects a more health-conscious, preventative culture.”
